Ok, so Im interested in this too but Im on the side of the anime shit, considering a few key things..for one, this is a website that dabbles in things related to Japan and anime happens to be one of the strongest forms of soft power come out of said region of the world. Also, not that it matters at all but I come from an art academy background, so most of my fundamentals are there already(some are sharper than others, but still most of them are still in place).

Now this is my question, can you give a few examples of what constitutes anime shit as per your definition of it? It could be manga too or authors, Im genuinely curious.
