True, compared to the west they're enough to destroy everything westerners do. But you can only put them together with Japan in the same sentence only when either:
>they imitate Japanese styles faithfully
>they work under Japanese artistic supervision that cleans up the product they draw

When these conditions aren't met their approach is also based on a bunch of hacks to get away with not having skill or understanding to do it the Japanese way. How they're better than the west is that they lack the subversion and pressure to make everything uglier than it has to be.
