You probably have naturally low appeal. It sucks, but there really isn't much you can do about this, since more work doesn't magically cure the ailment.

Cope. You need appeal. I see very popular artists with high traction, many commissioners, etc who clearly put very little effort into their works, making low-beg mistakes like improper line overlaps, missing or extra fingers (like one hand has four fingers, the other five), backward hands, etc. Fuck I even saw one porn artist accidentally slap a mosaic filter on part of a character's fucking hair and nobody seemed to give a shit. Just pure laziness, but I guess their appeal is high enough that nobody even notices.
