Wrong, I can only draw anime style. Maybe that's why the left looks better to me, greener grass and all that. Or maybe it's that the right one looks like a 1-panel NPC who's only in the background to give other people beer, while the one on the left is smiling at me and looks like she's gonna give me the beer.
Anyway, here's anime-style artwork that I like. You see, the biggest problem with the anime image on the right in the OP is that it's a generic moeblob anime girl and not a sexy manboy showing nipples. If she had been a super adorable chibi with extra large beer or at the very least made a cute expression that gave her some personality, I'd have been more lenient and preferred it to the sweet and boardgame-cover-art looking image on the left, even though it shaded her cleavage so nicely.
