You need to network with people. Obviously not on big platforms like social media, but you should really make at least some friends who can boost you in case of issues like your account getting suspended for bullshit or your country getting into hostile waters with whatever platform or payment you use (ie brazilfags getting xeeted for a month or russians having paypal pull out). It also helps to have real connections with people who you can share critique, ideas, tools and tips with - to talk shop. Buddies doing fanart for each other also helps with audience-sharing assuming you are into overlapping topics.
