Debatable. His art was highly influential during SP's peak. I even suspect that a lot of that influence still ripples through the art industries now, even so far as to say that 'bean mouth' style people hate so much is thanks to SP's influence (not that it's SP's fault).

I'd outright say this is false. Sure it's probably not aged the best, but the core idea of fighting evil exes, and the humour, the character interactions, the timely pop culture themes, there's a good reason why this comic was popular, had a movie made based on it - that also became a cult classic, and continues to be looked at fondly.

Frankly, you're just a jealous faggot. The comic isn't perfect; it's very much a 'young person's' piece of media that you'll be too old for by the time you leave high school, and the last evil ex as well as the ending were wet fart let downs, but it was a defining piece of media from the 00's, and deserves its place.
There is definitely elements of luck involved, but if the comic wasn't good, it'd never have caught on and managed the 6 volumes.
