I have several PCP rifles so I know how the filling works. I just can't wrap my head around how a striker at the rear, punctures a burst disk at the rear which then said air out the front?

Sure, but how does this release air out the front?
I just want to make some myself, can't revserse engineer them right now and I'm stuck without the tools. We don't get the full size Harpoon here because the AEA importer is chicken shit and thinks it might be illegal.
