So the first thing is to say something retarded like a UGV with rockets is a replacement for the tank, when it doesn't fulfill the role of a tank (Why the tank hasn't been replaced).

Then you respond with a truth (It doesn't have the off-road capability of a tank) that is nonetheless missing the greater point (There is no way this can fulfill the role of a tank) and follow that up with something deeply retarded that helpfully ignores earlier points made in the thread (Vulnerability to counter battery is massively reduced in this thing by 1: Making that vulnerability less relevant due to its unmanned nature; and 2: It's even more suited to shoot an scoot tactics).

Short term: The active users whose points were earlier ignored are likely to be activated by this discussion, and they will waste their time and energy trying to reiterate in various ways the same point. They are less likely to post about other things, the conversation is stymied, the community decayed as a result.

Mid-term: This sort of thing removes the 'reward' for being in such a community. There's less learning, there's less thought, there's less engagement. The community is further decayed.
Effectively the 'cohesion' of communicating on the platform, period, is annulled. Meanwhile with active legitimate users caught up in this you have the conditions set to place more and more garbage with the hope that such garbage is considered 'normal'. It doesn't matter if you've been on 4chan since '05 or whatever if you convince yourself that the fucked up rhetoric and behavior in front of you is 'normal'. You might fight against individual lies that you see represented here, but the real battle will be kicking down the work being done to create a commonly accepted rhetorical structure which serves as a platform to degrade and sublimate the community.
