Getting through outerwear like leather (then potentially bone) is non-trivial-- you do not want to count on lacerations and waiting out exanguination on the threat it keeps you engaged. The Cold Steel Spike(s) would be a stiletto backup option that was even more discrete.

B. a blackjack/sap will be underestimated and book marker equivalents are simple to fashion/acquire.

B. (intermediate) USA KA-BAR or equivalent
C. (short & choppy) A 'bushcraft' knife like picrel, more broadhead spear pointed the better
D. (home defense) various landscaping and roofing implements, machete or spear-ish, e.g. picrel.

You should always have outerwear, a scarf, a hat, and potentially a glove for the offhand that is easily slipped inside a pocket. These are for trapping, deflection, concealment and grappling.

Helmets with visors and shields are what give you actual deterrent overmatch as a functionally disarmed Eurochattel. The minimum would be something like a Buckler together with a machete:

Minitac is smaller than it looks and about two inches short of being truly functional apart from its slimness-- OP would be better served by even a folding carambit, just for the semi-brassknuckles of the ring for hammer striking as an additional option.
