I'd also think the general speculation/consensus observers have, that the felon isn't nearly as stealthy as it looks (like super hornet tier) could be proved by one being shot down over ukraine. it'd very possibly be a patriot, samp-t or one of those frankensams doing it too so would show beyond a shadow of a doubt how impotent their best-of-the-best is vs western gear. it wouldn't just be a donkey kick in the nuts to their prestige but the intel windfall could be disastrous for them if any of the electronics were recovered intact. so it's just not a priority and they're sitting out the war for being too valuable to lose + they objectively can't win the war anyway. if they could cruise anywhere they wanted in ukraine unseen they'd go snipe anything they wanted but obviously, they can't.
