I don't have the game (it does look interesting) but realistically a fighter with lower RCS is generally "better" if you have equal or equivalent performance. Think of this with an IR signature for the sake of this mental exercise:

>The other fighter is closer to a 270 flare (front 90 has little/no emissions) with the rear being a smaller torch but it is overall dimmer
If the IR seeker is trying to differentiate the target (doesn't matter if its imaging IR or conventional) against the background at a long launch distance, it has to effectively find the hot object against the contrast of the background. Pretend jamming is an "IR blinder" that points a laser at the seeker dome. The missile has to look for this target against the background and the missile's own seeker performance (noise floor, baseline electronics noise even if the seeker gets cooled, these can be very low on modern missiles in real life) at a great distance unless you're launching at shoulder touching ranges. The stealthier fighter has a "lower contrast" to the background. The moment the stealthier fighter faces the missile with a lower emissions side, the more likely the missile loses track and/or doesn't readily reacquire track as it tries to look for the lower contrast target in the background (esp if it cuts engine thrust, tosses flares, jams and then doesn't keep doing it to make it HoJ).

Radar missiles effectively are experiencing this very same scenario in regards to "contrast." Lower signature is better.

Also the AAM-29 sounds like in regards to network guidance the wet dream of JADC2 ("Any Shooter, Any Sensor"). That'd be obnoxious to defend against since it can be guided terminal to target by any powerful enough radar in the distributed sensor network. The terminal mechanics would be weird and start moving into some real life stuff in brushing into "what" decides to turn the radar on.
