nta but it definitely is. the destruction of one thing to sustain another is, innately, a state of war. if we're to take war as a morally bad thing, which most do outside of the most blatant of psychopaths or outright sophists, then we can conclude that consumption (as requiring the state of war) is also morally bad. pretending that it isn't is just gigantic cope to get on with life without torturing yourself over the fact, and it's fine if you do cope as everyone does to some degree, but to deny the truth of the matter is just nonsensical.
