you have to t-e-s-t. Keep track of the tests. run them again and again. If any variance in your statistical model comes up? You must identify the control variable. The classic example, naturally.

you only feed the fish, there.
If you approach from behind a screem, you are eliminating the variable of the fish seeing movement.
when yo ufeed the fish? ring a large metal bell right next to the tank, directly after you fed it.
you count the time, from dropping the food in the same corner, and the fish comes over.
you ring th bell, as soon as the fist gets going eating.
You have charts, You kept data. You can cruinch nubers now.
when the day comes that you ring th bell, and the fish JETS over, waiting on food? You have succeeded in making te fish respond not only to dropping food, but the bell noise makes him do it, too.

I say. maybe its because you always do uit at 4PM. We can TEST that now.
Or, see how many time you can continue to ring the bell, with no mor food with th bell. Watch and see, if the fish get sslower to respond for the bell.
You can char all this, and test anything.

if you just talk talk, talk. And, never test, never crunch numbers. That's not science. WOmen's studies? Have very few experiments, and hisporically poor variable control, shitty sample size, statistical models not worked up or worked up inncorrectly.

You can create a bellchart, showing the fish getting over quicker, the more time you ring the bell on demand with food. Now, if yo quit? You cn see the curve come back down.
