Exactly. It felt like a very optimistic story without being too saccharine. This is where Diebuster failed by comparison. You could cope that Nono's not completely dead, but that's kinda silly.

Considering that they only had 6 episodes, I'd say they did a great job pacing it without feeling rushed or hectic. Again, somewhat of a problem with Diebuster, and how a lot of stuff seems to happen off-screen (like how Nono suddenly started feeling inferior to Lal'C while Lal'C acted flippantly towards Nono around episode 3, for seemingly no reason).
