This week's GBO2 for console is the 2nd week of P.M.U. Material Enhancement Campaign with rewards, step ups and limited missions for Dijeh [Luio & Co. Type].
The MS for the week is a Zeta Plus made to test out the High Mega Cannon which would later be used for Gundam ZZ; Zeta Plus A2 is here from Gundam Sentinel.
For steam there are Powered-up Hangars Campaign, free drops, step ups and missions for the week.
The MS is NT-X from SD Gundam G Generation as well as Mass Production Type Z Gundam from Z-MSV.

When I think about the series, episode 5 of the first TV show (The Heartbeat of Criados) always comes to my mind. The antagonist offing himself some time before while his will is being carried on by mechanical creations is such a good concept. Patlabor Movie did the same later but DP also had a slasher or Terminator vibe to it because the robots go after the Lovely Angels directly and want them executed wherever they are. This is very common with /m/ shows, maybe because they fail to turn into franchises or the creators/studio decide to take the ideas that worked and the learned experience and pour it onto a new show.
Which of these are your favorites? I like how short and sweet FLCL is, it takes you for a ride like no other and you never see it again. Never ever. Mazinger Z is a mix of comedy, action, and slice-of-life drama.
Great Mazinger is that but way more cartoony for some reason.
then Grendizer comes way more serious with melodrama and romance.
Now I understand why some people find Z more enjoyable than Grendizer or vice versa depending on which show they started with. both shows are very different.
Z's first 20 episodes were kinda boring. around the time of Jet Scrander the show becomes way better. from Episode 60 onwards it became actually amazing.
Great Mazinger wasn't really fun which is a shame since I like Great's design the most out of the three Mazingers.
Grendizer starts off great. Loved the serious and horror-ish atmosphere of the first part. halfway the show started to be more like its prequels by adding slice-of-life drama and more humor. it has the best mecha battles and music. 22 years later, how bad do we think it really is? Thoughts? What exactly is it about late UC-Gundam productions like F91 and Victory so much less popular than the earlier works? It feels as if the only things anybody ever has to say about them are the behind-the-scenes details like how F91 was supposed to be a whole show and Victory was Tomino before his meds. Do they really just not stand up on their own merits?
It'd be really sad if the only actual reason was because they had nothing to do with the earlier conflicts or Zeon. Does anyone have that super high res encoding of Big O that guy on here made a few years ago? Both genre would mix well in my view. A few mecha anime even take the "victorian-like era" aesthetic for the character clothing, but they don't mix it with the rest. He is right and you know it. After all these 17 weeks, it's safe to conclude that this is the only meme-able Rozé of the Recapture screenshot and the best gayass face that Sakuya ever made. Maybe it wasn't so bad after all Post knock-offs and bootlegs you found on the net or IRL.

Protip: you can't For me, it’s the Penelope. I used to think it was an ugly robochicken like most people, but after watching Hathaway, I grew to really like it.
The movie did a fantastic job at showcasing its speed, power, and menacing presence. The first fight against the Messer really captured that, making it feel almost like an unstoppable mysterious, supersonic alien threat. Plus the realistic dogfights in the film made it look far cooler than I had originally thought. F91 was a neato Gundam and I'm tired of pretending it's not. Animation and choreography is nicer, while the more serialized storytelling gave the writers time to really flesh out the setting and put every character through a journey.
