And every other scene is this nonsense showing off her body. Why is this show so focused on this garbage instead of the actually interesting mech/angel stuff and the politics behind the scenes? I'm really trying with this show because I've heard such good things, but it's getting very hard. I love the GM. Probably my favorite mobile suit. But only the regular RGM-79 version, not a fan of the heads of variants like the sniper types. 
The New Years campaign is coming to an end and soon there will be a new cost to be included in with lvl2 of all the current 700 cost MS over time, starting at the end of this month.
The current new MS is a Mk-II used by the Magallanican government under the Republic of Zeon and heavily modified to equipped various weapons such as the Beam Magnum, Gundam Mk-II [Magallanica Issued] is here piloted by Banagher Links from Gundam UC episode EX2 Lion's Return.
The current MS on steam is Gundam Mk-V [MP Equipped] with Zeta Plus A2 as the next MS to arrive; both updates for console and steam will be updated later this week.

That is why Japanese is the lingua franca in the UC world on Earth and with the Spacenoids.

It's funny to me how the RF series used by Mars Zeon gets retroactively buffed and new machines like this RF Kampfer which has quasi-psycommu weapons.
Previous descriptions of the RF Zaku were all

>They can even outperform Geara Dogas in some areas
>Other RF mechs like the Dom aren't as maneuverable as Heavyguns and all are based on decade old tech by UC 120s
Making it sound like 30 years of relative peace and only Geara Doga samples + preexisting Mars Zeon OYW designs led to at best Geara Doga + 1s that can take on Jegans but get ROFLstomped by Heavyguns or anything miniaturized. The very best is an RF Gelgoog which is better than RF Goufs and Zakus but none had any quasi-psycommu tech, funnels, or ultra fancy weapons past Neo-Zeons. Now all this new media coming out way after Mars Zeon's first appearance like AoZ show Mars was really, really busy too and had access to Doven Wolfs and way more advanced machines than that.
Now, even RF Zakus in recent post-100 UC like Fastest Formula are depicted as

>Has all these new RF machines never before seen like the RF Kampfer that can give the F90 Gundam a tough fight

I'd rather watch the original run, but I definitely appreciate the changes and additions.

I also appreciate how it shifts from the original's swathe of revenge plots and Military-Industial Complex dealings, to a robot uprising of truly biblical proportions.
My only real complaint is that the most of the prior episodes (the first two thirds of the show) are just a moody, lethargic retread of the original series; with cheaper animation and significantly weaker battle choreography.

It could go without all the flashing lights though. I dedicate this thread to all underwater mechas because space sucks compared to water. So apparently /a/ hates this. Is it that bad? The mecha models look pretty nice. Saw some clips of the fight scenes and they look alright. Why didn't the Federation just make more of these? 1): Was there ever a proper extraction of the ISO's or MKV's for these releases?
2): Are the Region B releases of the same visual quality? This little thing always intrigued me. Mashing a tank with a jet on top. I know it's because Gundam was the first to attempt these things on a 'real robot' basis and still had some super robot aesthetics, but is there any explanation in-universe for this design aside from 'lol Zeon liked it's wonder weapons'?

So Newtype can easily adapt to pilot any kind of mobile suits, military vehicles like tank and even other mecha beside Gundam series, right? 22 years later, how bad do we think it really is?
