I guess the question is...if you were an Admiral in the Federation and had to choose between a brand new Albion-class ship or a Dendrobium, then which would you choose? Assume you only had enough room in your budget for one. Not both.

Which would be the most effective?

Which would give you the most utility?

Could the Albion (with a full complement of the latest model GMs) be 90% as effective as a Dendrobium in fleet combat?

What are the maintenence costs of the Dendrobium? Replacing those huge missiles racks can't be cheap. What about I-field maintenance?

Would if be more cost effective to shove 1 or 2 I-field generators on an Albion ship instead?
