The hard pill to swallow is nothing about Maud is fun or good the series. It is the complete antithesis to have a deadpan, grey, bland, Daria inspired, random OC get over 10 episodes devoted to their presence which involves:

>oh, I don't socialize but rocks
>this is boulder a rock
>doesn't blink or have a musical number or anything funny to do or say to even contrast with it
Maud was basically a prequel for characters like the La Creatura de Abominacion 6, Poochie , Ember and worse.
