He has as much power as the richfags, courts, and congress are willing to give him.

For richfags, two of the richest men in the word, Thiel and Musk support him, with several others like Bezos bowing down to him. Thiel in particular is really into NRx (think society structured around corpo techfeudalism, basically a bunch of rich tech magnates who saw Neuromancer and Snow Crash as aspirational).

For courts, well the supreme court did say that he couldn't be prosecuted by the courts if he used the military to assassinate people he didn't like, so ditto there. Unchecked power of death trumps any other power.

For congress, we'll see. Congress has usually been the biggest thorn in his (and any presidents') side, even if your own power is dominant. They probably won't give him everything he wants, but enough to make some trouble. I don't think congress would be too keen on shit like a vaccine ban (biotech lobby) or general tariff, for instance. Congress has the power of the purse, which is basically the on/off switch for the government as well.
