They are deeply self-conscious and narcissistic. They believe that they can only be accepted by society if they can meet their own unrealistic standards of beauty, which in this case means looking like peak Marilyn Monroe or Hugh Jackman.

This is obviously impossible for the vast majority of people, but they still crave the validation that those types of people are given. This is why so many trannies try to cooerce the speech of other people. It's not enough for them to take hormones, dress as the opposite sex, have surgery etc. they need other people to buy into that delusion too. And if they aren't given that validation they kill themselves, because the alternative means torturing themselves every time they look in a mirror.

The whole "I was born in a different body" talking point is bullshit. They don't know what it's like to experience life as the opposite sex because they have only existed in a single body. They're just riding off of the Civil Rights movement by using the same arguments the Otherkin did.
