The amount of fucking mental gymnastics Trump supporters are doing right now is insane. I'm pretty sure he deliberately pivoted to caring so much about fentanyl instead of any kind of trade deal unfairness as the reason for these tariffs purely so he could claim he was responsible for things both Canada and Mexico were already doing. And MAGA fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
