Gee, I wonder why the last decent Republican president was Dwight D. Eisenhower, who clearly got elected - by Republican voters who said 'I Like Ike': twice - on the basis that he who was Supreme Commander of those who brought order to the chaos that was rightard-started WWII. Those Republican voters in the 1950s knew Eisenhower was more than based.
