>run to gas station for hot water, pour it where I think the ice would be

>rage and try the passenger door
>opens right away
>unlock driver door
>listen to the sound of $500 flying away as the door folds the fender in
>get cheap Walmart tools to try to stabilize it until I can get new parts
>absolutely fuck the fender and the door, rip a bunch of paint off, more dents
>use the fob to try to unlock the passenger door
>the driver's door suddenly unlocks
>it was the fucking fob the whole time
Still don't know how much it's gonna cost. The fenders I've seen are between $100 and $400, but the door is looking okay enough that I should just be able to get. paint job done
