The best thing about ICE cars is that I don't have to charge it every night. As long as there's fuel in the tank and I don't ignore it for months, the car will start. Then if I have to drive long distance and I need to refuel, it takes only a few minutes, whereas in an EV, I'd have to give it at least half an hour to but charge on the battery. Then there's those charging stations that require you to log in with your phone. Heaven forbid you lose signal or can't connect online for whatever reason. Then there's the range issue, having to plan around charging stations, it's just not worth it. Maybe you enjoy getting coffee and bumming other EV folk while your car charges but most people don't. And good look getting rid of it when it finally becomes obsolete. Nobody is going to want these things in a few years, so you've basically bought yourself a worthless car that even the tip won't take off you, due to how dangerous the batteries are.

TLDR, ICE cars are convenient. EVs are a lifestyle choice, one that will impact your day to day and you'll be forced to plan around.
