You probably aren't old enough to have owned and driven cars without a screen in them. If you are, you'd know the screens add so much functionality when well implemented. Screens age as well as the rest of the car, the "digital" screens in the 90s look like shit today, but so does the rest of the car. The screens from 2002 look like shit today, but so does the rest of the car.

And stop pretending you're going to hold onto your average shitbox for the next 30-50 years, you certainly aren't going to do that with a 2025 Lincoln Navigator let alone something like an F150, or whatever you're driving today. It will look period correct with the rest of the car if you simply must keep this vanilla car for the rest of your life.

Exact same argument goes for every car: A Mustang GT350 interior isn't the greatest, nobody is buying it for how the dashboard looks or doesn't look. Same for a Rolls Royce. Ever see the video about why Bugatti didn't implement a screen? Instead you have 37 really tiny screens that communicate very little information but they look super cool, right?
