For the people I met through the rpg club, two of them were just people who happened to end up in the same campaign in my first year of med school, one of the guys was coincidentally in the MD program with me. I count my wife as the third of the three I met through that club, she wasn't a part of it but a girl in the group introduced us at a party some time later.
For the three I met through classes, sat next to one of them back in the first week of lectures. She introduced me to the other two who were her friends from high school or scouts or something.
