Yeah the way OP said it is disingenious. It's a kit lens in saying that it is sold with the body, but a constant aperture zoom L-tier is a bit different from anon's 18-55mm on his cope sensor.

Not at all. But I wanted to mention that if anyone was going to start comparing price:quality in the thread.

I think the line between kit lens and shit lens might be blurring a bit these days. The shitty small RF-S 18-45mm was the last "kit lens" I used and it was garbo. But I rented the RF 24-105 f/4 USM not long ago and it was sold in a kit with the EOS R and the RP.
