M8 I see this everywhere in Australia too. The old people stopped giving a fuck and the youngest never did. Sometimes I find these rare middle-aged people that actually try and experience life properly but the age gap is too much to make proper friends with them. I go to these events, or bushwalking, or to the races, and everyone is just vlogging and snapshitting for their shitty instagram or twitter. Everyone wants to be internet famous, and for what?

Trying. I'm not great by any means, but at least I'm taking photos and giving it a go.

On a lighter note, I've been enjoying the anon doing historical photographer threads. I'd like to see more threads dedicated to post-processing, practicing compositions, or even bring back the roll thread. Maybe narrow that last one down so instead of having 100 topics, we rotate 5 or 10 more broad ones to more easily drive engagement.
