THE NUMBERS do not add up, and an emotional response will not fix this. A roast beef sandwich should cost 5 bucks or less, depending on how fancy you get with your beef and how much you put on it could be significantly cheaper.

It really depends on how retarded the stores are for most of those deli prices anyway, all the grocery stores in america at least are run by retards and barely scrape by by doing a whole bunch of what are essentially scams to trick people into buying more. I could see a grocery store having absurd prices for deli meat, as they are all run by retards. You have to go to a specialty place to get any reasonable price. I think most of it is still that they can take advantage of their customers more because nobody wants to go to multiple supermarkets, or a supermarket and a specialty store.
