Except every fucking one liked the killer cops. Even the poorfags they claim the cops kill. Because they're more afraid of narcos than cops. Even if cops do kill them, they do believe "nothing to hide" and if they get collateral, they'd still blame the narcos.

The political implications were so strong that the pressure got huge and the military did a coup in the more dangerous favelas and took control. Lefties and narcos seething while poor niggers and rightwings rejoicing.

So they did the second movie, where they took all "chuck norris facts" that got associated with Capitão Nascimento (the killer cop) and made Captain a faggot LITERAL KEK who ends up doing the right thing with due process and voting to make things right. Sad thing is it kind of did work to counter the right wing rise that they caused themselves with the first movie.

But nowadays, Goiás is the only state where we're proud of having elite squad level police. And all I hear from people elsewhere (specially those with more lefty governors) is how fucked up violence is. Our gov is hoping to push it to win nationals in a few years.
