But again, that is because the government has nominal power due to the tradition of country formation. In libertarian society the corporations will do it by themselves directly rather than going through the government. They won't need the middle man. They'll just hire their own soldiers, their own taxation system and you wil llike it because you have no choice as they are more powerful than you and can excercise said power.

It's the vested interests behind them, the ones who paid for their campaigns and such that tell them what to do. The last time the US acted against a corporation was more than 100 years ago.

The government should represent its people and their vested interests. Do you think any Western government does so? Of what benefit is mass migration to the people, the creation of offshores, tax dodging, crime, etc? In fact, of what benefit is it to the government itself if you want to portray it as a separate entity? Getting less taxes is exactly what the government would want.
