I actually do think Epstein killed himself. He knew the party was over, he was already at average life expectancy. Deep state forces would have likely had him killed in prison to tie up loose ends (look what happened to Whitey Bulger), even if the deep state didnt want him killed, getting sent to prison with his file jacket was a death sentence anway; he wasnt stupid, he knew the cavalry wasnt coming to save him this time.

By killing himself Epstein ended his trial process without a guilty verdict; which would have made his estate worth $0. By killing himself prior to conviction he severely damaged civil claims against his estate and preserved the maximum amount for his brother; his brother was able to settle the claims against the estate and pocket the rest, which Epstein knew would happen if he wasnt convicted.

People from Wall St killing themselves is common, and this is the exact reason why. You dont preserve any assets in a holding company, because the holding company survives your death; however you can save your family substantial money through suicide, they cant collect your life insurance but it severely weakens claims against your estate if you havent been convicted of any crime.

Death of the defendant immediately ends any criminal process against them.
