Thing is, it's just fiction, it's not reality. Not until you put it to the test. Something you have never done. Worse still you look at your family, blood kin, and assume the same interactions with them could reflect the world of people that never knew you until you walk in front of them. You have no idea what it is like to be cared for by someone who wasn't blood, that never knew you when you were a child. To hear a person profess love to you, to stand with them, both of you naked, to take the greatest journey of trust two souls can ever have. But somehow you just know how these things work? Get the fuck out of here, if you had such understandings you woulds have found love or at the very least a functioning relationship a long time ago.
