>have a fun time learning something about soccer as players are either washed up players at the end of their career, or Americans/raw talent not good enough for Europe
>occasionally get hammered and lookup opponents most likely to take corner kicks and yell their hometown, previous teams and later Spanish phrases for the Spanish players
>Messi comes in and it instantly goes from a typically empty, comfy experience to a 3rd world nightmare
>people are there literally to only see Messi, nights he doesn’t play the games become a potential riot
>stop showing up because it takes an hour to drive to 10 miles on game nights
>sell the rest of my season tickets and don’t renew (they wanted 2.5x as much)
Was fun while it lasted. Probably won’t see another MLS game in my life though.
