Not entirely correct, as only Beelzebub hates all existence in lore, and evil is very much defined by where one stands.

If your whole natural morality of "good and evil" is written by a single person, is your natural inclination of 'good' objectively 'good'?
What about when that same single person who wrote the definition for good and evil also turns out to be an observable tyrant, who declares themself "unequivocally good" but then does many things that, were someone else to do them, would be considered especially evil (drowning millions in a flood, damning people to an eternity of suffering for criticizing him, forbidding any other gods or idols and insisting on periodic worship or he kills you, designing you to want to indulge in all manner of vices and experiences and then damning you to eternal torment if you do and he doesn't like it, or demanding a father kill his son after making him suffer for a bet)?
Is it more morally righteous to stick to the natural morality in your core as made by a dubiously amoral being, or to define ones own morality instead based on wants and desires and a more academic understanding of human nature?

The speculative morality and proper, genuine Heresy of the setting is one of the more interesting parts of it. If you just go "ooh light vs darkness, good church vs evil demon servants" you loose some of the best parts of Trench Crusade
