Stepping out of the van and revealing himself, he clapped, and as the employer panicked and started looking for the rest of the team and ordered the troops to attack the illusionist, he unleashed a cthulhuesque hell, pushing magic out of his ass to the point where he's bleeding from the nose, casting a variation of Mass Agony and Swarm, forcing everyone around him to experience their worst nightmares, blackening the garage in shadows of horror. This was enough to lock down *everyone* there, ending any chance of a potential fight immediately.

He then proceeded to shove every single shot of Longhaul down the throat of what we now understand to be just some kind of fucking middle manager, while slamming his head against the concrete again and again, telling him that he has NEVER. BEEN. THIS. FUCKING. DISRESPECTED. BEFORE. until there's nothing but a schloshing sound to accompany the screams of the troops around the scene.

He then took the elevator up to office level - still channeling this magical horror show all around himself, resulting in a scene where an elevator basically goes "Ding!" before countless nightmares just pours out and traumatizes every secretary on the floor. He then just walked outside, grabbed a car, and drove away, car accidents popping off all around him.

He stopped channeling the spells when the first drugs started wearing off, and he escaped down an alley on foot, hiding in a dumpster where he passed out. The rest of the team found him there three days later, slurping garbage juice, deep in organ failure.
