Tomb of Annihilation
>Dwarf Artificer was on a treasure hunt, ambushed and everyone but him was killed, he was left for dead
>Aarakocra Barbarian was banished from home clan, tried to rob said dwarf, found out someone beat him to it and dwarf joins him in banditry
>Half-Elf Cleric working as an anthropologist, is on a boat with the Half-Elf Druid they hired to help them through the jungle
>Boat is attacked by pirates, nearly everyone is captured except the two ladies and one of the sailors, a Half-Orc Rogue, when he helped them to slip by and steal a rowboat
>They land on the coast, and as they try to make their way to the port, get ambushed by stuntie and the feathered fiend, taken captive for ransom
>Syndra, the NPC that kick-starts the whole adventure, with her DMPC Dragonborn Sorcerer, trying to find why her Cleric friend never came to the port on time, tracks them all down and ends up hiring the two bandits to help the others out
That was our first two sessions.

Dragonborn was only with us one more session before they returned to Syndra because DM found a party of six a little too tedious.
