Well, where does my damn left arm begin and where does its mental representation (and the acquired experience of its capabilities) end? The question here is not so much of faculties but of capacities ... how much of extention could the wetware realistically handle without losing coherency or developing glitches? Same for memory ... would a downloaded scrap of information feel any different to a sudden leap of insight? Would depend on input format I bet .... where is the difference between recalling something read 20 yrs ago and input sourced from some distant database? Except perhaps for clarity of the information ...

It would sure produce a lot of "comical" errors at first! Things to learn from the usual way ... the hard way. Might wanna slap some smart safety measures on the hardware here.
