Expensive. Urban areas boring as fuck. Oslo worth a daytrip maybe. But the countryside and coastline is gorgeous. Social media popular spots are too busy but there are ten isolated areas for every one of those. Large outdoor culture which you should engage with - mountain huts, coastal paths, that kind of thing.
> Denmark
Copenhagen is nice for a couple of days. Rest of the country is dull.
> Sweden
Most Swedes live in the flat and boring southern / eastern bit. Big cities are worth a day or two. More sparsely populated areas in the Norway border or up north are nice enough I suppose
> Iceland
Probably the prettiest country in the world. Expensive and the popular spots are really frickin' popular but much like Norway you can quite easily find sights that are almost dead. Don't fall for the tourist trap lagoons, the towns run local baths which are much cheaper and the only place you actually get to meet Icelanders. Hikes in the summer are outstanding. I could spend a year here easily if I had unlimited money.

The santa claus theme park that is the north is mostly featureless taiga otherwise. But if you like that kind of biome you will have a blast here. Not visited Helsinki / south.
> Faroes
Technically part of Denmark. This is basically a colder Shetland - rugged and mountainous for the most part, full of sheep and seabirds. Excellent infrastructure. If you don't like this kind of nature don't come
