I actually do, I understand some countries I would want to go to are completely barred for me or I need to do paperwork for staying more than 24-48-72-144hrs as well as some countries requiring things like registering my hotel at a police station. If you aren't willing to do the work required that is in your home country for visitation to a foreign country; why do you think you would have ANY luck with a border officer who may ask you questions and proof of funds/return/intentions/

Because shit like that is how fake passports and visa's get issued. Someone talking on a skype call in their room can BS a lot easier with filters or the clarity of their face or body features; hell tons of other things those officers are looking for. They can also see how you react a lot more to being there to sniff out drug or human traffikers via body language.
