try near universities
and student focused clubs
meeting other foreigners is mostly Itaewon and Hongdae

but Korea is really hard mode regarding solo traveling!
koreans don't do "meeting strangers" - you typically get introduced over mutual friends

get on a few group tours, though it's gonna be mainly short term tourists

that part will be great though
really easy to get around SK and lots of pretty spots to photograph
