You've gotta be fucking kidding me. Post-COVID price inflation hit Latin America much, much harder than Southeast Asia. Couple that with rampant insecurity and stagnant economies, and you'd be hard-pressed to notice any improvement in a city like Bogota. Meanwhile, Southeast Asia has continued its course of rapid development and public works projects even as prices remain relatively stable outside the beach faggot destinations...and Chiang Mai, which is full of liberal faggots these days as well. In 2024 it made #5 on the list of world cities seeing the largest spike in hotel room rates. (The top contenders were all in India.)

The cheapest, best-value lodging and food in the world is still found in Southeast Asia, regardless of what the FUD posters say.
