yes

just go through the UNESCO heritage (+tentative) list for China
or their own AAAAA attraction list
similar to the USA, China has most of the biomes and great nature
similar to Europe you find hundreds / thousand year old history at every corner

Cities are hit or miss though
some huge cities with literally nothing to do
some incredible small towns

but they don't make it easy
without WeChat (Pay), AliPay and a domestic telephone number you'll be completely lost
and Visa options are shit, even with the the random 30days for some countries

also hiking is absolutely shit (exception like Tiger lead gorge hike exist)
i hate those "stair" hikes they have everywhere

really?
they don't make it very easy to visit
and don't advertise much
also big parts of China are really Xenophobic, as white European you're somewhat spared though

popular Chinese attractions are incredible packed with domestic tourists
and traveling during Chinese holidays is... literally the worst life experience
