As I said from my first post: you become conscious/semiconscious but your body is paralyzed because we evolved to have our motor function shut down so we don't injure ourselves while dreaming. I also pointed out that the commonality between hallucinations is attributable to the nature of the symptoms you experience (i.e. being held down).
