Again, this is fucking bullshit. Muh Nostalgia nonsense. All those old classics you love have heen carefully curated by cinephiles and movie enthousiast over the years. You aren't watching old schlock dear old boy. You aren't daring to go were no man has gone before. You're just a tourist in a movie world carefully mapped out for you. That's okay.. I watch old movies as well. I also liked to be a pioneer and experience movies for myself so I can make up my own mind. You can only do that by watching contemporary movies. Most of the new movies I watch are middling. Some of them are dogshit. And some movies are good. Yes. they still make good movies today. You've just stopped watching movies. Because you don't want to leave your curated safe space. That's fine.. just don't think you get an opinion on contemporary movies because you do not watch them.
