Anakin vs Obiwan was different. Anakin was to important of character to be shown slipping on a banana peel to give Obiwan the win. People say Anakin lost because he was too arrogant to know he could not flip over Obiwan, but it really was a shitty scene. Anakin had fought in many, many battles to that point. He was too good to make such a stupid mistake. There is no way he could have defeated Dooku at such a high level of skill and then make such a stupid mistake against Obiwan. If it was arrogance, Lucas should have shown that in a much more convincing way.
