My cousin just came back from maternity leave at the start of 2020. He husband works construction and gave her a rebreather sanding mask because the hospital was running out of masks for nurses and doctors.
Plus she was trained in the breathing tubes as a specialist, so she was working directly with the worst off covid patients.
She was sleeping in the living room afraid to go near her new baby. A damn nightnare.
The "covid" (aka SARS cov2) epidemic was a disaster that showed how unprepared hospitals and the government were. Thankfully the virus was actually not that bad, otherwise we would jave been really fucked.
Pray China's virus labs don't have another fuckup with anything worse.
