people still dont understand how RT works. It's binary:

the RT score is what percentage of reviews are FRESH (aka 6-10/10). Something that is 100% Fresh could literally have ALL 6/10 reviews. If there is ANYTHING polarizing, risky, nuanced, specialized about a movie it will lower its RT score because some people simply didnt like it. But a unanimously meh movie and unanimously heralded masterpiece are indistinguishable on RT. Movies like Toy Story get 100% fresh because who the fuck is going to say Toy Story is below mediocre
