That's just 'contain China' propaganda.
The collective west has created more worldwide pollution and greenhouse gases both nominally and per capita than China has.
Much of what they're still making today is still for the west, their shift to solar panels is admirable and the only reason why their green energy exports are hampered are because of the same thing 'contain China' propaganda.
Green energy was initially conceived of as a means to contain China. The west used it as a club to besmirch China.

>4. Pulling back on LGBTQ+ support - this was initially meant as a movement to try and virtue signal against foreign governments to paint them as intolerant and oppressive. Failed to hit the mark and instead backfired across the anglosphere and back home.
>5. Pulling back on muslim signaling and immigrants, same deal. They initially wanted to weaponize the muslim world against China through trying to elevate the Xinjiang issue into a flashpoint. Again, failed. They still have 2 flashpoints, Taiwan, South China Sea.
