99% of this board is just twitter/reddit reposts, barely-vidya gacha spam, and the same repeat threads over and over. The minute fraction of on-topic vidya discussion is dominated by named autists who recycle the same threads and bullshit over and over, and then the smaller fraction of people posting their takes and not being hampered by SEVERE mental illness are just repeating talking points they've seen over the years. I wonder how many people who played both Fallout 1 and 2 for instance actually dislike the wackier tone of FO2, or if they've just played neither and are parroting a take they heard from someone else.

Anyway, it's a moot point. New Vegas isn't necessarily as good as the isometric games, but that also largely depends on your tastes (and realistically: how old you are), but saying Fallout 3 or Fallout 4 are even comparable to it is pure, unmitigated shitposting. It's among the worst possible takes you could possibly have regarding Fallout.
