xenoblade X is still a JAPANESE game, made by japanese people, it's culturally extremely japanese and the whole point is that it's a JAPANESE perspective on an american scifi setting
it's like how panty and stocking is a JAPANESE parody of western cartoons, watching it in english completely misses the point and you miss out on shit like the engrish swearing which is what makes it funny and endearing in the first place
